jpnn.comSEMARANG – Acting Governor of Central Java Nana Sudjana was confirmed as Chair of the Central Java Scout Movement Regional Advisory Council (Mabida) for the 2023-2028 term.

The inauguration was carried out by the Secretary General of the National Scout Movement Headquarters, Major General TNI (ret.) Bachtiar along with 53 Mabida members at the Gradhika Bhakti Praja building, Semarang, Monday, July 29, 2024.

After the inauguration of Mabida, it was continued with the inauguration of the Head of Kwarda Central Java, Budi Prayitno by the Head of Mabida Central Java.

Nana assessed that the scout organization plays an important role in the process of forming the quality of the nation’s generation.

Moreover, Central Java is currently experiencing a demographic bonus.

“Scouts is a very important organization to develop the young generation, especially as we are welcoming the Golden Indonesia 2045. So, we must prepare our young generation to become a better generation,” he said.

For Nana, scouts are also partners of the government in producing a superior quality young generation. Therefore, various scout activities need to be directed to form good personalities and characters. They also need to be instilled with a knightly and patriotic spirit to love the nation.

Secretary General of the National Scout Movement Headquarters, Major General TNI (ret.) Bachtiar appreciated the Central Java Provincial Government’s attention to the Scout organization. Without government support, Scout activities would not run smoothly.
