jpnn.com – Former Head of the Lampung High Prosecutor’s Office (Kajati) Nanang Sigit Yulianto is considered worthy of leading the province by contesting in the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections.
Former HMI Lampung activist Abi Hasan Muan even assessed that political parties in the province should consider Nanang Sigit as a candidate for governor or deputy governor in the upcoming simultaneous regional elections.
“There is no need to doubt his achievements in leading the Lampung region,” said Abi in a written statement, Tuesday (24/7).
Nanang Sigit Yulianto is known to have served as the Lampung High Prosecutor for two years, namely the 2022-2024 period.
According to Abi, during his time as the High Prosecutor, Nanang was seen as wise and prudent in making decisions in law enforcement.
“It is time for politicians and parties in Lampung to target him as one of the gubernatorial or deputy gubernatorial candidates. I strongly agree if he is pushed as one of them,” said Abi, who is also the former chairman of the Lampung Branch of HMI.
Personally, Abi knows Nanang Sigit as a figure of integrity and religion.
“During his tenure, every time he visited a region he always gave a message about law enforcement, especially regarding corruption and drug issues,” he said.
