It was this large number that convinced the teacher – supported by the management of the IUT – to simply cancel the note.

According to the local radio, the establishment wishes to adopt a regulation to regulate the use of artificial intelligence. The idea is not to ban ChatGPT, but rather to support, to “show that it can have an important contribution but also show the dangers of using this tool excessively”, commented the director of the IUT Charlemagne, Samuel Cruz-Lara, with France Bleu.
The risk, with excessive use of conversational chat, would be that students no longer think for themselves, which would prevent them “from assimilating knowledge”, fears the head of the establishment.
