A chimney fire erupted Sunday evening, January 4th, in a home on Boulevard des Anglais in Nantes, prompting a meaningful response from local firefighters. Crews were first alerted to the blaze around 10:30 p.m., and as of 7 a.m. this Monday, they remained on scene battling the flames, which had spread into the insulation between two houses.

The incident is also impacting public transportation, with bus line 10 experiencing diversions. Buses on line 10 are being diverted between the Boulevard-des-Anglais and Rond-Point-de-Vannes stops (the Stade SNUC and Boulay-Paty stops are not being served), according to a post from Naolib on X.
