Tokyo: Japan’s development after World War II is a lesson for the rest of the world. The Japanese people are known by the people of the world as active people like ants.

People in Japan suffer from long working hours and long bullet train commutes.

Nap Box was invented for such people. Japan’s Itoki Corp. and Koyoju Hohen KK have jointly invented a device called vertical nap boxes.

Nap means nap in English. This is also known as a power nap. A person needs exactly 22 minutes of sleep between heavy workloads; Studies show that the work he can do after that will shine.

In this case, Koyoju Cohen, a plywood supply company of Hokkaido Islands, and Itoki, a furniture store based in Tokyo, have prepared this nap box. Its price is yet to be determined.

But it is designed as an upright piece of furniture. Its structure is designed to comfortably position the arms, legs, head, and neck. Employees can take a power nap while sitting on it.

Regarding this, Seiko Kawashima, Director of Itoki Company, said, “Due to the workload of working long hours in Japan, employees have a habit of taking a nap in the restrooms from time to time. It’s definitely not healthy. As an alternative, we have invented this Nap Box. It can be used conveniently by employees.

It will surely be welcomed by the Japanese. Similarly, companies will also buy it and use it for their employees,” he said.
