In the wake of the Russia-Ukraine war, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin tonight. Modi will explain to Putin India’s position on the Ukraine attack. Issues including the repatriation of Indian citizens will be discussed. Russia itself has asked India for such talks
Putin has warned the world that touching Russia could have unprecedented repercussions.
Ukraine has demanded that a special UN delegation be convened to discuss the Russian occupation. Ukraine demands that Russia, a nuclear power, destroy itself and that the UN stop the occupiers.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered an attack on Ukraine this morning. Putin announced the military action during an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council. Putin has said that military action in Ukraine is necessary, and that NATO’s involvement in Ukraine’s expansion is unacceptable.

Then Ukraine began to retaliate. Ukraine’s military command says more than 50 Russian soldiers have been killed in a Russian airstrike on a rebel-held city. Four Russian tanks were destroyed near the eastern city of Kharkiv. The General Staff of the Armed Forces tweeted that another Russian plane had crashed in Kramatorsk. Ukraine says 40 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed, according to international media reports.
Earlier, Reuters news agency reported that the Ukrainian military had shot down six Russian warplanes and a Russian helicopter, including in the rebel-held city of Luhansk. Ukraine began to retaliate with a series of deadly bombings. Russia launched a unilateral attack and no one is going to run away. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba tweeted. He said he would retaliate strongly.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has called for the resignation of Ukrainian President Vladimir Selensky. Putin also called for a new government. Russia has said it will decide on a new president. Russia has already decided who will be in which positions. Russia says it will stop the attack if there is such a change of government.
