by time news

NASA is assembling a team to study unidentified aerial phenomena commonly known as UFOs. CNN writes about this with reference to the US space agency.

The team will collect data on “events in the sky that cannot be identified with aircraft or known natural phenomena – from a scientific point of view,” the agency said in a statement.

NASA has stated that it is interested in UFOs from a safety standpoint. It is noted that there was no evidence of extraterrestrial origin of UFOs. The study will begin this fall and is expected to run for nine months.
