Operation of the International Space Station is planned to be extended until 2030. This was announced by the head of NASA Bill Nelson in a telephone conversation with the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin.
The extension of the ISS operation will be possible with the provision of adequate funding from the government.
Earlier, information appeared about Russia’s plans from 2025 to withdraw from the ISS project and begin construction of its own orbital station. But in this case, Rogozin assured the head of NASA of Russia’s compliance with all obligations for the operation of the ISS.
