It is called the Space Launch System and is the most powerful rocket in the world. NASA and Boeing have successfully carried out a test on its engines. The thrusters ran for eight minutes, the time it would take the rocket to reach space from Earth. The goal of the test was to collect the engineering data needed to make it usable. The SLS will play a central role in reaching the goal declared by NASA: to return to the Moon by 2024.
