Heat waves on Earth: Scientists are constantly warning that the earth is getting warmer. NASA has released an image that shows the Earth is warming up drastically. For many countries in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia, June and July experience extreme heat. The temperature here can easily exceed 40 degrees Celsius. Records were broken over the years. The image taken on 13 July 2022 shows that surface air temperatures have increased significantly over most of the Eastern Hemisphere.

The Goddard Earth Observing System (GEOS) was developed by combining observations found in a version of the Global Model, which uses mathematical equations to represent physical processes in the atmosphere.

Steven Pawson, head of the Global Modeling and Integration Office at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, said: ‘There are distinct patterns of atmospheric waves in different locations. Some areas are hot (red) and cold (blue). But most of the hotter regions are experiencing an increase in greenhouse gases due to human-caused pollution, which is causing continued rise in temperature and destruction of people’s lives.

Part of the Marmolada glacier in the Dolomites, Italy, broke off on July 3 due to record heat in Italy. An avalanche of snow and rock killed 11 people in Iran, where temperatures reached 52 degrees Celsius in late June. Meanwhile in China, roads melted and roofs collapsed due to extreme heat. NASA has released two maps showing how Earth’s appearance has deteriorated over the past 46 years. From 1976 to 2022, the map of Earth changed from blue to red.
