The different sessions focused on human capital, poverty and inequality; governance and economic and social inclusion; debt and fiscal policy as well as international trade and regional integration. It was Gilles Dufrénot, Professor, Sciences Po Aix, France who moderated the inaugural conference entitled “Access to new technologies and efficiency of growth: Disparities in Africa”. The discussions made it possible to address themes relating to energy policies and poverty; financial and logistical innovation; digital transition and development, etc.
