On November 10 and 11 it will premiere in the Central Theatre (Sevilla), Geometry of experiencehand in hand with Natalia Jimenez Gallardo.

Natalia Jiménez has been creating her own pieces since 2010. She is part of Group LaBolsa (a group of international dance creators who seek performative creation practices in real time). With its own poetic universe in pieces site-specific as CLASSROOM (in collaboration with the playwright José Luis de Blas), Practica on the border (with the playwright Jorge Gallardo), and YOU UNDERSTAND (with choreographer and dancer Iris Heitzinger). Her works have been presented in spaces such as the Lyon Biennial, Mes de Danza, Festival Neo, Festival Grec or MACBA, among others. She has been President of the Andalusian Dance Association (PAD). The Central Theater premiered its previous piece Woolf in February 2022.
An artistic career crossed by the gender perspective and interested in the processes, behaviors and mechanics that define the artistic language of each work.
For me only to see Natalia Jimenez Gallardo moving is a luxury. And if we add to this that his creations tend to encourage us, the spectators, (among other things) to transport ourselves to a plane parallel to our daily life, allowing us to expand our perception, without this necessarily implying that he has placed , something we would have done in a similar way, or saying: “That’s great: I wouldn’t have thought of this.” So, we meet again with one of the things that gives meaning and significance to attending the performance of a performance piece. For now, I give you the synopsis of this work:
In Geometry of the Experiencia Natalia builds a choreographic language on stage with 3 dancers and a percussionist, forming together and in relation to space, a single interdependent body.. In her new field of exploration, the choreographer works on the continuous adjustment that bodies make in order to survive. A feeling of interdependence that appears between everything that has agency, and that speaks to us of an unstable present, with frictions, disorders and dissonances. Lines, tensions, parallelisms, triangulations, vortices and states of mind emerge in the composition, caused by that continuous being in relationship that defines us.
Lucía Martínez’s musical composition on the scene acts like a rotating wheel, generating new spaces in each cycle. The change, also of age, makes a continuous space-time adaptation inevitable.
