Chennai: Regarding the Lok Sabha election work, the party’s national president Natta held a consultation with the officials including Tamil Nadu BJP leader Annamalai till midnight yesterday.

BJP National President Natta, who is touring the entire country in connection with the Lok Sabha elections, arrived in Coimbatore. He met and interacted with Coimbatore and Nilgiri district administrators and social media supporters of BJP.

Political situation

After the night rally, Natta stayed at Isha Yoga Center near Coimbatore. Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai, Union Minister of State L. Murugan, BJP Women’s National President Vanathi, Vice President Kanaka Sabapati also stayed in Isha.

There, Natta inquired about the political situation in Tamil Nadu from the important officials of Tamil Nadu BJP, including Annamalai. Then he consulted with them till midnight regarding the Lok Sabha elections.

The DMK has retained the alliance that won the 2019 Lok Sabha and 2021 Assembly elections. Natta was told that the DMK is planning to include parties like the BJP, DMK, and the People’s Justice Center in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The DMK considers the ADMK split to their advantage. But the DMK is also worried that the votes of the ADMK should not go to the BJP.

Tamil Nadu BJP executives have explained that the Dravidian minded people in ADMK do not want a BJP alliance.

After patiently listening to everything, Natta said:

In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the DMK–Congress alliance should not win more seats in Tamil Nadu. We have to form an alliance to capture at least 50 percent of the seats.

Propaganda

DMK, now the ruling party. People are dissatisfied with DMK due to milk price, electricity bill, increase in property tax and succession politics. BJP should propagate this and DMK’s corruption to the people.

Efforts should be made to include parties like BMC and DMDK in the alliance.

In Tamil Nadu, the BJP should identify the constituencies it will contest and the strong candidates for it now. Polling booth committee should be set up in all constituencies and election work should be started.

He said this.

Corruption cases

Also, Annamalai took up with Natta about the pending corruption cases against DMK ministers and the DMK government’s activities.

That is why, in the meeting of DMK team executives held yesterday, ‘BJP will not hesitate to do anything for the victory of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Therefore, we should prepare to face the BJP’, Chief Minister Stalin seems to have instructed.
