Natascha Ochsenknecht is celebrating her 60th birthday. She doesn’t want to change her life, but the topic of finances and pensions makes her think.

The Ochsenknechts are one of the most famous families in Germany. For decades, head of the family Natascha has played a key role in ensuring that the name Ochsenknecht is not forgotten – even though her modeling career is long gone and her marriage to actor Uwe is also long over.

At the VIP premiere of “Tim Burton’s Labyrinth” she told t-online that she wanted to spend her sixties like she did her fifties. “I haven’t changed my life, everything is still the same. Except that I now have grandchildren who I like to spend time with. I really enjoy that.”

A few weeks ago, her eldest son Wilson Gonzalez became a father for the first time. She now has four grandchildren in total. Nevertheless, every birth is still exciting for the 60-year-old. “Every child is a blessing and every child is special. Because every child has its own personality. Being a grandmother is great.”

Even though she doesn’t want to change her lifestyle, Natascha Ochsenknecht is concerned about the issue of pensions as a self-employed person, now 60 years old. “When you’re self-employed, you do think about it: What will the future look like? How long can I keep working? Do I have enough money saved up? What else can I do?”

The question of retirement provision is something she is more concerned about today than it was in the past. “I didn’t make any provisions because I was married for 20 years and thought I was provided for,” she admits in an interview. “When you split up, the world suddenly looks completely different. Then you think: ‘Oh, now I have to start all over again.’ That happens to a lot of women, you just have to go through it.”

The Corona period in particular has shown her how quickly money can run out. “You have to watch where you stay. But I’m a creative person and I think I’ll work as long as possible because it’s just fun.”
