Sunday 19th December at 6pm Apollo Theater of Lecce the great gospel American will be the protagonist in the usual Christmas appointment of the Camerata Musicale Salentina for the 52nd Concert Season. Hailing from Washington DC, directed by Nate Brown, the gospel group “Nate Brown & One Voice” returns to Italy, five singers selected from the 25-piece choral “Nate Brown & Wilderness”.


“Nate Brown & Wilderness” one of the most appreciated and followed gospel choirs in America, as well as winner of many awards: they ranked first at the Pathmark gospel choir Competition in 2008, first place in 2008 at the Kings Dominion Gospel Competition, first place in 2010 and 2013 at Verizon How Sweet The Sound, Gospel Music Competition and first place at Kellogg’s Gospel. In 2008 the group was chosen by C-Jam Music Usa to embark on a tour in Europe that continues to repeat itself every year today. They perform in Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic, Paris, London.

Its founder, Nate Brown, attended Duke Ellington College of Music in Washington and contributed to the success of the Duke Ellington Jazz Band, with whom he has performed in England, France, Belgium and Canada. Nate attended Berklee College of Music, performed at prestigious festivals such as the Marciac Jazz Festival in France, won awards and accolades, and graduated as first saxophone in 1998. He also had the honor of performing with world-class musicians. such as Wynton Marsalis (Award winner), Roy Hargroove, Tony Terry, Tyron Powell, Ketter Betts and others.
