by time news

RETIRED – Today, Monday March 20, the pension reform was definitively adopted in the National Assembly. In the absence of a majority at the time of the vote, Elisabeth Borne engaged the responsibility of the government with the use of 49.3. This decision led to the tabling of two motions of censure by the deputies who disapproved of the bill.

The first, “transpartisan”, was rejected by 9 votes, with 278 votes “for”, out of a total of 287 required. The second, proposed by the National Rally (RN), gathered only 94 votes in favor and was rejected.

France-Evening collected at the National Assembly the statements of several deputies present at the end of the session: Mathilde Panot (MP LFI), Marine Le Pen (RN) Eric Woerth (LR) and François Ruffin (LFI).
