Tamil Nadu won the men’s basketball championship at the Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai, Chennai. Leading teams in India, including Indian Railways, Services team, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Kerala, Karnataka, Assam, Delhi, UP, – Rajasthan, Haryana, Mizoram, Odisha, West Bengal, 31 state teams participated. In the final, Tamil Nadu and Punjab clashed in the men’s division. At the end of the lively match, the Tamil Nadu team won the championship with a score of 87 – 69. Tamil Nadu players Arvind Kumar, Jeevanandham, Arvind and Muin Peck were among the contributors to the victory. Similarly, in the women’s division match, Indian Railways and Telangana clashed. In the lively competition, the Indian Railways team showed action and topped the table with a maximum score of 131 – 82 points. Trophies and certificates were awarded to the winning Tamil Nadu team and the Indian Railways team.
