National Chess Tournament; Gokulakrishnan Qualification | Dynamics

Anupparpalayam – A state level chess tournament jointly organized by the Tamil Nadu State Chess Association and the Tirupur District Chess Association was held at the Tirupur Angel Engineering College. The competition was held in various categories for students under the age of 15. More than 200 people from all over Tamil Nadu participated. In this, Gokulakrishnan, a 10th class student of Tirupur Neruperichal Thirumurugan Matriculation High School participated and won the final round of the men’s section and took the first place. In addition, he has qualified for the national level chess tournament to be held in the state of Odisha. Thirumurugan Matriculation High School founder Mohan, Dalal Sudha and teachers congratulated the winning student.
