National Crafts Week: Signature of three partnership agreements to support artisans

These conventions signed as part of the National Craft Week (SNA) aim to support the competitiveness of craft players.

The first two conventions were initialed by the Minister of Tourism, Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatima Zahra Ammor, the general director of the Maison de l’Artisan, Tarik Sadik, and the general director of the Group postage stamps by Barid Al-Maghrib and Oman Post to celebrate the fraternal ties between the two countries”>Barid Al-Maghrib, Amin Benjelloun Touimi.

The first aims to improve the operational performance of players in the Moroccan craft sector, in particular by promoting exports to international markets. It mainly concerns the establishment of preferential pricing for the benefit of Moroccan craft players.

The second agreement concerns, for its part, the issue of a series of postage stamps, as part of Barid Al-Maghrib’s philatelic programs from 2024, with the aim of promoting and highlighting the wealth of Moroccan artisanal heritage and the exceptional know-how of its artisans.

Concluded between the Ministry of Tourism, Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, the Maison de l’Artisan and the World Fair Trade Organization, the third agreement aims to facilitate export operations for Moroccan artisanal products .

The signing of these partnership agreements establishes a general framework for cooperation between these institutions and concretizes their common desire to contribute to the development of the craft sector.
