Placed under the high patronage of HM King Mohammed VI and organized on the occasion of National Disability Day, this conclave will be marked by the organization of a scientific day and thematic workshops, relating to the theme of the forum, indicates a press release from the Mohammed VI National Center for the Disabled.
According to the same source, numerous national and international experts will host the various sessions of this forum which will be held in collaboration with Special Olympics Morocco (SOM) and the Royal Moroccan Federation of Sports for People with Disabilities.
The inaugural session of the forum will also be marked by a tribute to sports champions with disabilities who have achieved performances at the international level in different disabled sports disciplines during the year 2023.
Around 300 professionals in the field of disabled sports and para-sport will participate in this face-to-face work, representing government sectors, sports federations for people with disabilities, Special Olympics, national and international non-governmental organizations, associations of people in disability situation, families, researchers and specialists, in addition to around a thousand participants and national actors, remotely and via the Facebook page of the Mohammed VI National Center for the Disabled.
The Forum will also be marked by the organization of numerous cultural, artistic, sporting and recreational activities, for the benefit of people with disabilities, their families and all stakeholders concerned, with a view to ensuring and ensuring on their well-being, the press release concludes.
