The winners of the 70th National Film Awards were announced on Friday. In this, the best Indian films certified in 2022 were awarded. The ‘Swarna Kamal’ category in the National Film Awards includes Best Film, Best Debut Film, Best Entertaining Film, Best Director, and Best Children’s Film. Malayalam film ‘Attam’ has won the Best Film award in the 70th Film Awards. That is, its producer is Joy Movie Productions and director is Anand Ekarshi. Apart from this, Pramod Kumar, director of the Haryanvi film ‘Fauja’ will also be given the Swarna Kamal award. He has received the award for the Best Debut Film.

Hindi film ‘Brahmastra – Part 1: Shiva’ has been selected as the best film in AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comic). Its producers are Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, Starlight Pictures. While the director of the film is Ayan Mukherjee. Sooraj Barjatya has received the National Award for Best Director for ‘Unchai’. He will also receive the Golden Lotus.
These awards come in the category of Silver Lotus
The Silver Lotus category includes awards for Best Feature Film on Social, National and Environment, Actors Award, Best Screenplay, Best Music, Best Singer. In this regard, this year Rishabh Shetty (Best Actor), Nitya Menon and Manasi Parekh (Best Actress), Pawan Raj Malhotra and Neena Gupta (Best Actor/Actress Supporting Role), Arijit Singh (Best Playback Singer) will receive the Silver Lotus i.e. prize money of Rs 2 lakh each. Apart from this, all the best films in regional languages have also received the Silver Lotus award.
