The seizure was carried out after a citizen complaint who alerted about the presence of armed individuals, who were in front of a property under construction aboard a truck in the town of Trigomil.

According to the official statement, the occupants of the suspicious vehicle fired their weapons at the National Guard officers who arrived at the scene and fled in different directions, without any injuries.
Despite the search operation, the attackers were not located, but inside the vehicle in which they were traveling, 17 35 mm grenades, 17 improvised explosive devices, 15 long weapons, 150 magazines, 1,930 cartridges of different calibers and various tactical equipment were found.
