This Friday the III edition of the National Housing Fair was inaugurated, on this occasion, 15 developers will present their housing projects, which can be financed under the benefits of the Preferential Interest Law, this in order for Guatemalans who attend looking for a house can access decent housing.

The first edition of the fair was held in Guatemala City and the second in Quetzaltenango, events where around 20,000 people were present. On this occasion, a White Seal “MarketPlace” was also installed at the fair facilities, made up of MSMEs that have this distinctive.

President Giammattei reported during the event that, to date, more than 240 families have purchased their homes and received the benefits of the Preferential Interest Law, which translates into Q80 million new decent homes for Guatemalans.

The president added that there are new applications that are in the evaluation process and could become more opportunities to have decent housing for many Guatemalans.

The fair will take place on June 16, 17 and 18, in the Parque de la Industria, entrance door 4, the hours are: Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
