On this day, a war of nerves broke out between the ruling and opposition parties over the adoption of the witness list. Rep. Kim Seong-won, the ruling party’s secretary, pointed out, “In two days, 187 witnesses were requested by the institutions subject to the government investigation. During the government investigation into the Yongsan and Itaewon disaster, there were 103 witnesses, and during the suspicion of Choi Soon-sil’s manipulation of state affairs, there were 70 witnesses.”

People Power Party lawmaker Kwak Gyu-taek also pointed out the adoption of Acting Choi, President Lee Chang-yong, and President Shim Woo-jung as witnesses, and pointed out, “We are so idle that unnecessary witnesses are coming forward for no reason and taking up positions tailored to their needs. We must take care of state affairs.”

In response to this, Democratic Party lawmaker Min Byeong-deok responded, “The F4 (Deputy Prime Minister, Bank of Korea Governor, Financial Services Commission Chairman, and Financial Supervisory Service Chairman) held a meeting to prepare funds for the civil war right after martial law. Shouldn’t we look into this? It is absolutely necessary.” I hit it.
