The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has on Wednesday started the registration process for the National Overseas Education Scholarship Scheme 2023. Interested candidates can apply for the scholarship on the official website.
The registration process for the National Overseas Education Scholarship Program will be open for 45 days, which will end on March 31 (midnight).

National Overseas Education Scholarship Program 2023: How to Apply
Step 1: Visit the official website — https://nosmsje.gov.in/(X(1)S(p1czato5ayq0hoprvig4km10))/Default.aspx
Step 2: On the home page, click on the ‘Register’ option given on the top scroll.
Step 3: Fill all the required details like Full Name, Mobile Number, Date of Birth, Aadhaar Number.
Step 4: Enter the captcha and click submit.
Step 5: Download and save the form for future reference.
This scholarship is available to candidates belonging to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Traditional Artisans and Landless Agricultural Labourers.
To be eligible for the scholarship, a minimum of 60 percent marks or its equivalent in the qualifying examination is required. Also, applicants should be below 35 years of age and their family income should be less than Rs.8 lakhs.
There are total 125 seats available for this scholarship. They are Scheduled Castes (115), Denied, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes (6), Landless Agricultural Laborers and Traditional Artisans (4). The scholarship covers tuition fee, maintenance fee (US $ 15,400/- per annum, UK £ 9,900/- per annum), contingency fee, visa fee, equipment fee, tuition fee and medical insurance premium and economy class air travel, according to the program guidelines.
