Intensifying the operations against the mafias dedicated to extortion throughout the national territory, this time the National Police managed to dismantle a criminal gang made up of foreigners in the Arequipa region.
“The foreigners of evil” was a criminal network dedicated to the illegal loan in the “drop by drop” modality made up of three Colombian citizens and two Venezuelans that the PNP managed to capture.

The operation was possible thanks to the motorized patrol carried out by troops in the Arequipa region, who, alerted by the residents of the area, intervened five foreigners accused of extortion. During the operation, they were able to verify that these people were engaged in intimidating, extorting and threatening mainly the taxi drivers in the area, after granting them loans with impossible interest to pay.
