Angola news – The academic Helvariana Pereira, launched on Friday in Luanda, the scientific work that brings a deep reflection on the sport phenomenon in Angola.

Entitled “Sport Factor for Development and National Unity”, the book has 83 pages and is divided into three chapters, under the seal of Acácias Editora.
Speaking to Notícias de Angola, Helvariana Pereira, made it known that the work compiles the author’s academic research, during her degree, on public policies aimed at sports development in Angola and the role of sport as a social regulator.
As the author points out, the book highlights the impact of public policies on sport, as an instrument for promoting peace, education, health, employment, culture and solidarity among young Angolans.
The researcher also analyzes the national strategies in the area of sport aimed at Angolan youth between 2008 and 2014, in particular those defined by the National Directorate of Sport, of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Angola.
Graduated from the Agostinho Neto University in the specialty of Political Science. Helvariana Pereira, is a senior member of the Ministry of Youth and Sports since 2007.
