National strike continues; People’s life in the state was in turmoil

New Delhi: The 48-hour strike called by the Joint Trade Union Committee (JTUC) against the central government’s policies continues.

Essential services have been excluded from the strike. The main demands are the repeal of anti-labor labor codes and the protection of the interests of farmers. The national strike also partially affected Delhi.

The strike was brought to the attention of the national capital by bank employees and a protest by LIC employees. Members of the Congress-Left party demanded that the parliament adjourn and discuss the issue of fuel inflation and the national strike.
