National Tea topped weekly price declines on DSE

Among the companies and mutual funds that participated in trading on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main capital market of the country, the share price of National Tea Company Limited, listed in the food and related sector, fell the most. The company’s shares topped DSE’s weekly price decliners list as investor interest waned.

National Tea topped weekly price declines on DSE

This information was revealed on the basis of DSE’s weekly market review on Saturday (September 21).

According to the data, the share price of the company fell by 24.23 percent in the outgoing week. The closing price of the company’s shares was Rs 486.90 in the previous week. And at the end of the farewell week, the closing price of the company’s shares stood at Tk 368.90. As a result, the company’s shares topped DSE’s weekly price decliners list.

Among the other top gainers on the weekly DSE were Hami Industries 14.01 per cent, Trust Bank Mutual Fund 11.63 per cent, Orion Pharma 10.28 per cent, MB Pharma 10.17 per cent, Premier Leasing 9.09 per cent, Miracle Industries fell by 8.33 percent, Libra Infusion by 7.94 percent, NRB Bank by 7.91 percent and Osmania Glass by 7.55 percent.
