Traders and unions across the country are on strike today, demanding the resignation of the Sri Lankan president.
The normal life of the people in Sri Lanka has been severely affected due to the severe economic crisis. The prices of essential commodities have risen sharply.
In this situation, the people are continuing to fight for the resignation of Sri Lankan President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
As part of that, trade unions across the country are engaged in a strike today.
Workers in various sectors, including railways, transport, banks, health, electricity and education, are on a one-day strike today.
It is noteworthy that on April 29, more than 1,000 unions joined in a nationwide strike.
