He NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberghas traveled to Kiev without prior announcement, as reported by the Ukrainian media on Thursday. It is the first Stoltenberg visit from the start of the invasion by russiain a sample of support for Ukraine while it prepares to launch a counteroffensive.
In images released by the ukrainian press can be seen at head of the Atlantic Alliance -to which Ukraine aspires to join- in Saint Michael’s Square in kyiv, in front of a memorial in honor of the Ukrainian military killed in action. There, Stoltenberg has paid his respects to the Ukrainian soldiers who died fighting in the war and has reviewed the russian military equipment damaged that is exhibited in a central square in kyivaccording to a Reuters photographer, who added that the NATO chief has left in a car after the event.
