NATO servicemen are already in Ukraine, writes the Spanish newspaper El Pais, quoted by OFFNews.
According to the publication, they control the weapons provided to Ukraine, conduct intelligence operations and train the Ukrainian military.
Recently, French President Emmanuel Macron, speaking about the possibility of sending Western troops to Ukraine, not only opened a debate on the relevant topic, but his words also served as an indirect confirmation that the servicemen of the NATO countries are not participating in combat operations in Ukraine, but already are located on its territory.
This was recently confirmed by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslav Sikorski, who refused to specify their number or name specific countries. According to him, with the attack on Ukraine, Russia has shown that it is civilizationally incapable of accepting Western values and cannot coexist peacefully with its neighbors.
And Czech President Petar Pavel noted that NATO soldiers have been present in Ukraine for more than a decade, but not in combat units, but as army instructors.
