Bangkok:

A Thai Navy ship patrolled the waters of the Gulf of Thailand. Then a strong wind blew. As a result, the ship capsized in the sea.

The power supply was disconnected due to sea water entering the vessel. After getting the information, the rescue team rushed to the spot. 3 warships and 2 helicopters rescued the 75 people on board. Another 31 people are adrift in the sea, the navy said.

The rescue operation has been delayed due to strong winds. Machines have been brought in to evacuate water entering the ship.

Northern and Central Thailand has been experiencing extreme cold for the past few days. Storms occur in southern Thailand and cause severe flooding. A warning has been issued to keep ships ashore.
