Nayanthara’s upcoming film is Jawaan opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Tamil media reported that Nayanthara was paid Rs 7 crore for Jawaan.
Nayanthara will next be seen in a heroine-oriented film. It is reported that the actor asked for Rs 10 crore as compensation and the producers agreed to this.

Nayanthara, who has been ruling the South Indian stardom for the past ten years and is fondly called Nines by her fans, is raising her salary after marriage. Actress Nayanthara and director-producer Vignesh Sivan got married on June 9. The ceremony was held in Hindu style at a resort in Mahabalipuram near Chennai. Only family members, close relatives and friends of both attended. The media was not allowed to enter the venue.
