A.R. has been composing music in various languages including Tamil and Hindi. Rahman is currently composing music for a few films in Tamil including Simbu’s ‘Pathu Thala’, Ravikumar’s ‘Ayalan’ starring Sivakarthikeyan and Udayanidhi’s ‘Mamannan’ directed by Mari Selvaraj. For this, Aishwarya has signed a music contract for Rajinikanth’s ‘Lal Salaam’ in which Rajini will make a special appearance and Kamal Haasan’s new film directed by Mani Ratnam.
Meanwhile, he has produced a Hindi film called ‘Adgaon Satgaon’ released in 2020. Then he produced the film ’99 Songs’ which was released in 2021 and also wrote the story. Following this, he directed the film Lee Musk (short film) created as a virtual reality. The film was also screened at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
