The trailer of the movie O2 starring Nayanthara and produced by SR Prabhu and directed by debutant director Vignesh has been released. In this movie Nayantara plays the mother of a boy.
A bus gets stuck underground due to an unexpected natural change. The passengers on the bus and Nayantara are trapped with their son who is suffering from a strange disease.

They have taken this picture based on how they are recovering from it. The press conference was held in Chennai. Apart from Nayanthara, many members of the film crew were present.
Speaking on the occasion, director Vignesh said that directors Venkat Prabhu and Pa. Ranjith were instrumental in his screen journey.
Producer SR Prabhu for the O2 film mentioned that he was the body. Similarly, actress Nayantara said that she gave oxygen to the film. He was proud to submit to women, to women who have achieved, and to women who aspire to achieve.

Following this, News18 Tamil Nadu questioned SR Prabhu after the release of the teaser of the film and the criticism that there was a hint of a Hollywood film with the scenes featured in it.
