El Salvador has placed itself on the international map as a safe tourist destination, thanks to the climate of security that exists there, as well as the historical transformation of the country, which offers potential for development.
Among the emblematic projects of the Bukele administration is Surf City, which has a 6.5-kilometer highway and became the first section of this great tourist development, which is already benefiting millions of Salvadorans and tourists.
It is worth noting that, year after year, El Salvador hosts surfing competitions, where world-class athletes participate, thanks to the safety that exists.
Economic tourism continues to grow, with the expansion of the project that will improve the coastal area of the country, increasing trade and promoting tourism, generating thousands of new formal jobs, with 23 kilometers of road with bicycle paths, 14 bridges between new and improved.
In addition, they will install 4.5 kilometers of underground wiring, pedestrian areas, solar lighting, new bus stops, protection works, drainage systems, tourist viewing points and the reorganization of the city, from El Obispo beach to Bitcoin Beach in El Zonte, as part of El Salvador’s Economic Development Plan.
