PORTRAIT – Candidate for a second term, ignoring the Constitution of his country, he sees himself as the “coolest dictator in the world”.

Two small eyes published on his Twitter account, above a poll presenting Nayib Bukele more popular than Pope Francis. No words, just an emoji to tell the world: “look at that, look at me“. On the social network, the young Salvadoran president multiplies the publications to defend his popularity (92% approval) and the success of his security policy.

A year and a half after the establishment of the state of exception, and the war waged against the pandillas (criminal groups reigning in El Salvador), the government claims to have regained control of 100% of the territory.
