Nazim Beydamirli’s arrest is another attack on conscience

In 2012, Havlanak said, “I have been a Sheikh for 33 years, I don’t know what conscience is.”
After this statement of the sheikh, the cases of selling conscience for money became massive in Azerbaijan, the regime that pays good money for conscience and sees a hen that does not lay eggs when it sees conscience is the ruler. It is true that there were those who were sold, but they were those who did not know what morality and conscience are from birth.
And finally, the confession of a state official “either conscience or mandate” was an acknowledgment of the rejection of conscience in the “Ilham Aliyev regime – conscience” dilemma that has been played out for 20 years.
If there was a regime of honest people in this country, the state would not have been looted with such inhuman brutality, and the people of the kingdom of billions would not have been forced to struggle so hard for survival.
If the regime wasn’t Yazid, would it shoot people asking for water with rubber bullets? Does anyone doubt that rubber would be replaced by lead if the protests continued?
If the regime had a conscience, they would not have poisoned nature with cyanide in Soyudlu. Cyanide-containing gases, such as chlorine, belong to the group of chemical weapons of mass destruction. People with a conscience wouldn’t shoot grandmothers who objected to the poisoning of the authorities and spray gas in their faces.
For 30 years, Armenians exploited the Vejnali gold deposits in Zangiland, where they were occupied, and did not make mother nature cry like ours. Cyanide-containing washing waters are relatively easily neutralized with the help of oxidizers, only a small expense is required. Whatever the Armenians are, they paid for it in Vejnali, and our dishonest people did not see the need for it in Söyudlü.
But it’s good that despite all the repressions, we have many people and intellectuals like Nazim Beydamirli who are able to protect their conscience and human face, and I consider Nazim Beydamirli’s arrest as another attack on conscience by Ilham Aliyev’s regime.
I strongly object to Nazim Beydamirli being put in the grip of this regime’s hacking machine, and I demand his immediate release.
