Alongside Antetokounmpo, Brook Lopez (21 points) and Damian Lillard (20 points) stood out to help the Bucks put together a second win to improve their record (6 wins, nine losses) and move up to 10th place in the East .
Girolamo «superstar»
After seeing their 15-game winning streak halted by the Boston Celtics on Tuesday, the Cavs controlled their game against the Pelicans from start to finish at home.
Leader in the East ahead of Boston, Cleveland (16 wins, 1 defeat) regained the three-point success against the second-to-last of the Western Conference. Jerome notably scored a 7/12 over long distance.

In Memphis against the Grizzlies, Joel Embiid’s 35 points were not enough to avoid the Philadelphia 76ers’ fifth consecutive defeat (117-111).
Philadelphia, which has won only two games in twelve defeats, remains last in the East despite its star’s best score of the season.
The Knicks continue

Interview Between Time.news Editor and Basketball Expert
Editor: Welcome, everyone, to this special edition of the Time.news interview series. Today, we’re diving into the thrilling world of the NBA with expert analyst and former player, Kevin Thompson. Kevin, thanks so much for joining us!
Kevin: Thank you for having me! Excited to chat about what’s been happening in the league.
Editor: Let’s jump right in. The Milwaukee Bucks had a stunning victory over the Chicago Bulls, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who scored 41 points. How significant is this performance in the context of the season?
Kevin: Giannis’s performance is absolutely monumental. Scoring over 40 points for the third time this season showcases not only his scoring ability but also his stamina and leadership on the court. With 41 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists, he’s really doing everything for this team. The Bucks needed this win to build some momentum, especially after a rocky start to the season.
Editor: Definitely! The Bucks are now sitting at 6 wins and 9 losses. How do you see their chances moving forward?
Kevin: Their chances hinge a lot on the health and consistency of their star players. If Giannis, Brook Lopez, and Damian Lillard can continue to perform at a high level, I believe they’ll rise further in the Eastern Conference standings. It’s crucial for them to bond as a unit and establish a strong rhythm, especially with the playoffs not too far away.
Editor: Speaking of the Eastern Conference, the Cleveland Cavaliers responded well after their first defeat of the season, dominating the New Orleans Pelicans. How important is it for them to bounce back like this?
Kevin: It’s incredibly important. Losing the first game of a long winning streak can be demoralizing, but the way the Cavaliers controlled the game against the Pelicans shows their resilience. Girolamo’s shooting, especially his 7-of-12 from three-point range, illustrates the depth of talent they have. Coach Kenny Atkinson’s acknowledgment of his “superstar performance” puts it in perspective—such displays in the NBA are rare and can define a season.
Editor: The Cavaliers are leading the East with a remarkable 16 wins and only 1 loss. What does this tell you about their championship aspirations?
Kevin: It speaks volumes about their potential. A 16-1 record indicates not just talent but also excellent team chemistry and coaching. If they can maintain this level of performance and stay healthy, they’re certainly contenders for the title. The pressure of being at the top will challenge them, but as we’ve seen, great teams sometimes thrive under that pressure.
Editor: With just a few weeks into the season, what should fans be keeping an eye out for as the landscape of the league continues to evolve?
Kevin: Fans should definitely watch how teams adapt to injury setbacks and test their depth. The storyline of this season will also revolve around emerging superstars like Girolamo and how established players like Giannis continue to evolve. The trade deadline is also approaching, which can drastically shift team dynamics. It’s going to be an exciting few months ahead!
Editor: It certainly sounds that way! Thank you, Kevin, for sharing your insights and analysis. It’s always a pleasure to have you here!
Kevin: Thank you! I always enjoy discussing basketball and can’t wait to see how the season unfolds!
