NBTC Winter Carnival 2023

KUWAIT CITY: NBTC Group organized its annual ‘Winter Carnival-2023’ on February 24 (Friday) in conjunction with Kuwait National Day celebrations at NBTC Corporate Office Courtyard.

NBTC Group’s ‘Homefor Homeless’ scheme will provide free houses to 52 deserving employees this year as well. NBTC has provided more than 83 houses in the past years as part of this project. Sri Lankan Ambassador to Kuwait Kandeepan Balasubramaniam, Nepalese Ambassador to Kuwait Durgaprasad Bhandari, representatives of the Indian Embassy in Kuwait, famous doctor Koshi Daniel from India, representatives of companies like KOC, KNPC, Kipic were present in the ceremony presided over by NBTC Managing Director KG Abraham.

NBTC’s Winter Carnival celebration was a way to live up to the company’s motto of ‘OneTeam, OneFamily’. In addition, more than 5000 people, including representatives from NBTC’s regional offices in UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, and NBTC’s employees and their families from Kuwait, participated in this year’s winter carnival.

Winter Carnival-2023 saw performances by Pragati Music Band featuring famous playback singers Harishankar and Nehvenugopal, NBTC’s Desert Thunder Music Band and performances by NBTC artistes. Also there were many food stalls which included different cuisines from the Philippines, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, Lebanon and various states of India.

NBTC sports fair winners award, education scholarship for children of NBTC employees, class toppers award for best marks in 10th and 12th classes were distributed at the winter carnival. Prize distribution was also held for the winners of the Best Short Film Award, FIFA World Cup Prediction Competition, Quiz Competition and Photography Competition. The day-long various art performances, various competitions and game stalls made this year’s winter carnival unforgettable.
