The NCAA College Football show is back on, and we witnessed several interesting clashes this weekend.

In the second big game of this weekend, the Florida State Derby, Miami destroyed Florida 41-17, great debut for Cam Ward with the Hurricanes jersey, finishing with 26-35, 418 yards, 3 TDs and 1 interception, he immediately found the connection with his WR corp, especially with: Restrepo, Arroyo and Horton. Arizona puts in a great offensive performance (unlike the defense) against New Mexico State winning 61 to 39, Noah Fifita finished with 422 yards, 4 TD and 1 interception, Tetairoa McMillan instead finishes with 10 receptions for 304 yards and 4 TD. Great start for Vanderbilt who gets the better of Virginia Tech after overtime by 34 to 27, Northwestern wins against Miami (OH) by 13 to 6 in classic midwest style, thanks to a granite defense.
Defenses were not there in the match between Boise State and Georgia Southern where the total points went above 100, the Broncos won 56 to 45, RB Ashton Jeanty was crazy with 267 rushing yards and 6 TDs, on the other side QB JC French finished with 322 yards and 2 TDs plus 39 rushing yards and 1 TD. South Carolina barely wins against Old Dominion 23-19. #23 USC wins a very important match against #13 LSU on the neutral field of Las Vegas 27-20, QB Miller Moss does very well (27 of 36, 378 yards and 1 TD), on the Tigers side the serious problems seen in the secondary last year persist in 2024. North Carolina also wins against Minnesota 19-17 but loses QB Max Johnson to a knee injury, Colorado coach Prime’s season also starts well against North Dakota State with a 31-26 victory, 445 yards with 4 TDs and 1 interception for Shedeur Sanders, 198 yards and 1 TD for Jimmy Horn Jr and 132 yards and 3 TDs for Travis Hunter including a spectacular reception.

After the defeat against Georgia Tech in week 0, Florida State’s situation worsens as they also lose against Boston College with a peremptory 28 to 13. The Eagles’ dual-threat QB, Thomas Castellanos, played very well, finishing with a total of 179 yards and 3 TDs. Coach Mike Norvell will have to wake up his boys, until it’s too late.
