NCC Bank has acquired the internationally prestigious Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) certificate for ‘card information security’. On this occasion, the bank’s managing director and chief executive (ongoing duty) M. Shamsul Arefin, Associate CMS Partner and Director of ITCL Osman Haider, CEO of EIC Mosiul Islam, SEVP and CIO of NCC Bank Mohammad Anisur Rahman, Head of Cards and Digital Payment Division Zubair Mahmud Fahim and other officials of the Bank’s IT Department and EIC were present.
Managing Director and Chief Executive (ongoing duty) M. Shamsul Arefin said, by receiving this certification, NCC Bank’s card information security system has been raised to a new height and the security of customer’s card information has been further secured.
He said that NCC Bank is committed to providing security to customers’ information and protecting sensitive information. Achieving (PCI-DSS) certification in this context will help us to achieve international standard data security system.
SEVP and CIO Mohammad Anisur Rahman said, PCI-DSS accepted by world famous payment card brands VISA, MasterCard, AMEX JBC is globally recognized information security standard. Achieving this certification by NCC Bank is a milestone made possible by the concerted efforts and hard work of the entire project team.
