A delegation from the “PASS 2” health sector support project visited the site of the rehabilitation and extension works of the now departmental hospital of Ndendé.
(Gabonews): The Ndendé Medical Center will change status, it will have a departmental hospital at the end of the work. This health structure is in the process of being delivered, already on March 23, the national coordinator, Wilfried Mando was satisfied with the provisional acceptance of the works.
At the end of the visit, he told the press that it was 95% of the hospital improvement site, the 5% are to come, because these are finishing works.
The construction of this hospital is to offer quality services in order to reduce the movement of patients to other structures.
Surgery can be done on site, for example. The capacity will increase from around twenty beds to around forty.
The modernization of the Ndendé hospital will meet the expectations of the populations with regard to the ambitions of the President of the Republic, Ali Bongo Ondimba.
