Ndrangheta, Paraguay expels two alleged affiliates – Libero Quotidiano

Il Paraguay expelled two Italians identified as alleged members of the ‘Ndrangheta. They were arrested 250 kilometers from the capital Asuncion. The two suspects, who bear the same name, Giuseppe Giorgi, they are first cousins, aged 22 and 26. The two men were traveling in a van in the port of Rosario when they were stopped by officers. Interpol of Paraguay speculates that their target was theexport of cocaine in Europe. According to the European police, about 40 tons of drugs have arrived in the Old Continent from Paraguay in the last three years.
