Ne-Yo confirmed not to Rock In Rio-Lisbon

by time news

Ne-Yo is the latest confirmation for Rock In Rio-Lisboa. The American singer will take the stage on the last day of the festival, June 23rd.

The author of ‘So Sick’, a hit from 2006, will come to Portugal to present “Self Explanatory”, his latest album, released in 2022. Ne-Yo thus joins the names previously confirmed for this day, on the Stage World: Doja Cat and Camila Cabello.

In a statement, the Rock In Rio-Lisboa organization also announced the holding of an immersive video mapping show, which will mark the 20th anniversary of the event. This show is creatively directed by Nuno Maya and artistically directed by OCUBO, with the assistance of lighting designer Terry Cook and pyrotechnician Vítor Machado.

For this edition, Rock In Rio-Lisboa will move from Parque da Bela Vista to Parque Tejo, which will become the festival’s new venue. Names like the Scorpions, Ed Sheeran or Jonas Brothers will take to the stages on the 15th, 16th, 22nd and 23rd of June.
