A five-member family experienced absolute terror yesterday on the street outside the Castle of Nafpaktos when they suddenly saw a huge pine tree falling above their heads.
As you will see in the video from the security camera, the family members seemed to perceive a strange sound and began to look up before running away.
Within a few seconds, the pine tree fell on a parked car, exactly at the spot where the five family members were standing.
The tree’s fall prompted the intervention of the Fire Department. Five vehicles with ten personnel, assisted by a crane and the Greek Police, which closed the road and managed traffic, ensured the removal of the fallen pine tree.
According to initial information, no injuries have been reported.
