Nearly 100,000 beneficiaries of the “Youth Pass” in its experimental phase (Mr. Bensaid)
Rabat – Some 100,000 young people have benefited from the “Pass Jeunes” application in its experimental phase, launched by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, said Tuesday in Rabat, the supervising minister, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid.
In response to a question on “The Youth Pass program and the modalities of its generalization across all regions of Morocco”, asked by the National Rally of Independents (RNI) group during the oral question session in the House of Advisors, Mr. Bensaid stressed that his department aims, one year after the launch of this program aimed at strengthening trust between young people and state institutions, to target millions of young people, through its generalization on a national scale.
He also said that his department launched the said application in its experimental phase in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, in order to support this new program and ensure the adhesion of young people to its various services, adding that this experience aims to avoid any possible technical difficulties and to allow the executives of the youth department to support this new program.
In this vein, the government official noted that the success of the generalization of this program “is dependent on the involvement of the regions”, noting that the first services will be provided by public establishments, with a view to subsequently allowing young people to benefit from services offered by private establishments.
Please note that the “Youth Pass” is a free application intended exclusively for young Moroccans and foreigners residing in Morocco aged 16 to 30.
This application offers many benefits, discounts and free offers to allow this section of society to benefit from cultural and sporting services, in addition to the possibility of accessing means of transport and housing throughout the Kingdom.
