A peak of traffic jams of 349 kilometers was recorded at the national level, Saturday February 25 at midday, according to Bison Futé. The day is classified orange in the direction of returns, in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and the Paris region. This weekend marks the end of the winter holidays for students in Zone B (Marseille, Lille, Strasbourg, Rennes…) and the start of the second week of vacation for Zone C (Paris, Toulouse.. .).

In Ile-de-France, traffic on the A6 promises to be particularly dense in the direction of returns, between the beginning of the afternoon and the middle of the evening.

In Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, it is the axes that connect the ski resorts that are the most congested, in particular the A43 between Lyon and Chambéry, with more than 100 km of accumulated traffic jams. At 1 p.m., Vinci found 32 km of traffic jams on the A43 in the direction of returns, and 18 km in the direction of departures. More than 33 km of traffic jams were also recorded at midday on the A40, in Ain, and more than 16 km on the A6, in Yonne.
