This category benefited less from social mechanisms via the Compensation Fund, he explained, adding that 60% of families benefited from 8 billion dirhams from 2015 to 2023, while the other categories benefited from 12 billion dirhams. annually during the same period.
This new achievement implemented by the government within the framework of the social state as desired by HM King Mohammed VI has enabled target families to benefit from direct family allowances, noting that family allowances will reach 300 dirhams per child in 2026 depending on the situation of each family, in addition to the fixed subsidy set at 500 dirhams.
The minister further indicated that the government has chosen to address “the poor precisely through the direct targeting mechanism”, through the unified social register.

The government, he continued, granted these people a period of 12 months to register in the Unified Social Register, stressing that the number of people affiliated to the National Social Security Fund amounts to 10, 5 million citizens.
Regarding assistance for widows, the minister noted that the number of beneficiaries of the old aid regime was set at 76,000, so this number has today reached 300,000 beneficiary families supported by a widow , adding that the amount of aid will increase from 350 to 400 dirhams in 2026.
